If you have not experienced Sushumna you are in for an amazing experience. They performed at our August Expo day and the feedback we received from visitors was amazing. Sushumna is a music ensemble that performs modern live acoustic music with guitars, drumming and vocals which help to remove the conscious mind and take participants into a state of bliss. They perform a large spectrum of music including some that are slow inspirational pieces and others that are energetic and upbeat original songs, sacred mantras and devotional chants from different traditions and religions from around the world. It conveys a message of peace to the world and opens a channel of connection to the divine through opening of the heart and transformation of the self. |

Sushumna encourage people to interact with their music through Kirtan, a spiritual practice that originated from India. It is the technique of call and response singing whereby a person leads the chant and others call back to the leader in response. It draws in sacred energy and shifts blockages within the self, opening it to feeling more love, happiness and peace in our lives. The sounds are energy and they fill us with the vibrations of the divine, which unite us on a beautiful journey and take us back to the very essence and truth of our being. No matter if you just want to attend and absorb the powerful energy of Sushumna or participate with the gathering; their music entices an abundance of happiness, joy and fun. Sushumna will perform Kirtan at Love and Serendipity on once per month on Friday nights at 7:00pm.
